Utah Hot Air Ballooning - ABOUT US

Skywalker Balloon Company, founded 1996 by Wilhelm "Will" Drummer. Will is from Vienna, Austria and came to visit friends in Utah in 1994. Stunned by Utah's beauty and the friendly people he decided to give up his corporate job and became a hot air balloon pilot. Simply because it is the most intense way to see Utah's fantastic landscapes.

As a hard working and dedicated individual he has pioneered flying hot air balloons in many spots in Utah - Like Bryce Canyon, Goblin Valley, and the Swell.

Ballooning in Europe is for most part a very personal experience. In that tradition on each and every flight we get to know our passengers, and make them part of the whole experience.

The name SKY walker comes from the unique way of being airborne and flying - the gondola remains stable in flight, and flying up an hill a few feet above the ground gives you a feeling that can be compared to "walking in the sky".

Why You should come with us: As a family owned business, and a chief pilot from Europe, we are dedicated to give you the absolute best ballooning experience possible. Smaller balloons and smaller groups enable us to adjust to each individuals personal needs and desires. A typical European style after flight celebration in style gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better, exchange stories, and share our memories. And of course we are fully insured, FAA certified and approved, and all our pilots are commercial pilots with a perfect safety record.
